DetermineasingleplaceintheReceivingareatostorethedifferenttypeofpacking.
Createapackingbalancefile,onepagepersupplier
(Seeattachment1.
Whenthedriver/supplierarrives,theReceivingTeamhastocountandrecordthereceivingand/orreturningquantitybysupplierforeachkindofpacking(suchasplasticpalettes,woodenpalettes,plasticbasket…).
Thedriver/supplierhastoconfirmandsignthefile.
TheReceivingTeamwillrecordandstampontheDeliveryNotethequantityandtypeofpackingreceived/returned.
ReceivingTeam’sResponsibilities
ReceivingTeamhastheresponsibilityofarrangingandcountingforthepacking(freshdivision)inventoryattheendofeverymonth,underthecontrolofSecurity.
ReceivingTeamwillcountallthepackinginthestore.Theymustincludeallthelocations:eachDivision’ssalesarea,storageandlaboratory.
ReceivingHeadwillhandoverthepackinginventoryresulttotheStoreManagerjustaftertheinventoryisfinished.
4. SecurityTeam’sResponsibilities
TheSecurityGuardworkingattheReceivingYardmustcheckinallthevehiclesifthenumberandkindofpackingistheonewrittenontheDeliveryNote.
SecurityHeadhastheresponsibilityofpacking’sinventorycontrol:
Randomchecking:byarea.Ifthereisanydiscrepancy,100%oftheareahastobecheckedagain.
