Research on the process and mechanism of transforming entrepreneurial
team's previous experience into cognitive ability
Abstract
In the process of entrepreneurship, what really works behind the unique entrepreneurial
thinking and creative behavior is the cognitive ability of entrepreneurs and their teams. It
determines whether the start-up enterprise can recognize good entrepreneurial opportunities
and make timely decisions, which also determines the success or failure of entrepreneurship.
Therefore, the cognitive ability of entrepreneurial teams has also become the key factor for
the success of entrepreneurship. The previous experience brought by the members of the
start-up team,the richerthe previous experience,the moreconducive it isto the
entrepreneurial team's cognition of the current real situation. Increase the experience of the
entrepreneurial team through different forms of interaction. The richer the experience, the
stronger the cognitive ability of the entrepreneurial team. In addition, the existing research on
the cognitive ability of entrepreneurial teams is carried out only from the perspective of the
internal team or only from the perspective of the external environment. However, in the
process of the growth of entrepreneurial teams and the formation of their own cognitive
ability, they are affected by both internal and external factors. Therefore, this paper adopts the
comparative research method of twocases to explore the process mechanism of the
transformation of entrepreneurial team's previous experience into team cognitive ability under
the dual interaction of internal and external environment.
This paper selects Livefan and Dalian Weian Zongheng as typical cases to build a
theoretical analysis framework of "previous experience - interactive process - entrepreneurial
team cognitive ability". Analyze the collected data according to the coding technology of
grounded theory, extract the constituent dimensions of the entrepreneurial team's previous
experience, interaction process and cognitive ability through open coding, spindle coding and
core coding, and analyze the logical relationship between the three, According to the change
of interaction level, the evolution of entrepreneurial team cognitive ability is divided into
three stages: the initial formation stage of entrepreneurial team cognitive ability, the rapid
improvement stage of entrepreneurialteam cognitive ability and the maturestage of
entrepreneurial team cognitive ability. The formation process and influencing factors of
different entrepreneurial stages ofentrepreneurial team cognitive ability areanalyzed,
Through the analysis, comparison and summary of the formation process of entrepreneurial
team cognitive ability of two case enterprises, the research conclusion is drawn. Through the

research, it is found that previous experience is a necessary condition for the formation of
entrepreneurial team cognitive ability, and the entrepreneurial team cognitive ability is
constantly affected by the dual interaction of internal and external environment in the
entrepreneurial process, and the cognitive ability as a whole shows the characteristics of
continuous rise. According to the summary and analysis of different development stages of
entrepreneurial team, this paper constructs the theoretical framework of the interaction of
previous experience on the cognitive ability of entrepreneurial team.
From the internal and external interaction, this paper reveals the black box of the process
of the transformation of entrepreneurial team's previous experience into the formation of team
cognitive ability, goes deep into the complex interaction between elements and between
elements and environment, and makes a systematic analysis of the formation process of team
cognitive ability; At the same time, it provides theoretical guidance for enterprises to
continuously iterate and optimize the interactive process in the growth process, better obtain,
accumulate and enrich team experience, and then improve team cognitive ability.
