产品的竞争是设计与制造水平的竞争,归根结底是设计的竞争,竞争焦点演变为以 最短的时间开发出高质量、低成本的产品。然而,在当今市场竞争激烈、产品更新速度 加快的形势下,部分产品设计公司由于在设计程序或开发手段方面存在不足而造成部分 很有创意的产品因施工困难或造价太高而最终未能走上市场。 本文将该现象的根源归结为一个问题,这一问题在流程上表现为工业设计与工程技 术设计的衔接问题;在形式上表现为工业设计师与工程师的沟通问题。已有的研究通过 面向制造与装配技术或强化工业设计师的工程技术知识来解决这一难题。这些解决办法 治标不治本,没有抓住问题的实质。 文章从产品开发流程和设计手段、信息传递方式两个角度探索了衔接问题的本质, 得出结论:造型可行性研究是工业设计和工程技术设计的衔接点;造型可行性研究是设 计师和工程师沟通的桥梁。进而构建了产品造型可行性研究“4W-1H”体系,并通过实 际案例检验了该体系,依据案例总结了造型可行性研究的一般流程,通过由理论到实践, 再从实践到理论的过程完善了该体系。 全文主要工作包括:(1)研究设计程序,指出串行开发存在的弊端,引入并行设计 来优化工业设计与工程技术设计在流程上的状态关系,并研究如何实施造型并行开发; (2)从设计手段、信息传递方式的角度出发,研究产品开发依赖的手段(数字化技术) 和开展造型并行开发的技术前提(计算机辅助技术);(3)构建造型可行性理论体系, 研究造型可行性实施中的关键问题;(4)通过实际案例,研究如何应用造型可行性理论 指导具体设计实践,并归纳总结实施造型可行性研究的一般流程。 产品造型可行性理论是解决工业设计与工程技术设计衔接问题的有效方法,它是保 证产品实现符合最初创意的强大武器。造型可行性理论体系是产品设计理论的重要组成 部分,对提高产品质量、缩短开发周期和降低成本等方面具有重大意义。 关键词:工业设计 造型可行性 并行工程 数字化技术 计算机辅助设计Abstract The competition of product market depends on the level of design and manufacturing, and in the final analysis,the competition of design decides the competition of market. Designing high-quality low-cost product as soon as possible evolves the focus of competition. However,creative product with construction difficulty or high-cost could not be put into market,the reason of that is the blemish of design process or development means in some product design companies,under the situation of fierce market competition and faster speed of product updating. This thesis attributed this phenomenon to one problem,which was the connection problem between industrial design and engineering design in design process. It formally seemed that this was communication problem between industrial designer and engineer. Some researches solved this problem by DFMA or strengthening the technical knowledge of industrial designers. However,these ways could not deal with the true problem. This thesis explored the essence of the connection problem from the aspects of design process and development means and the ways of information sending. Then,a tentative conclusion was made:modeling feasibility research was the connection point of industrial design and engineering design ; modeling feasibility research was the bridge of communication beteen designers and engineers,further to set up one 4W-1H system,as well as certifying it by successful cases. The general process of modeling feasibility research was got through these successful cases. From theory to practice,and from practice to theory,the whole text included: (1)studied the design process,pointed out the side-effects of serial mode,introduced concurrent design to improve the state of industrial design and engineering design,still studied how to take concurrent design into effect(.2)studied product development’s means of digital technique and CAD,which was the precondition of modeling feasibility research,from the aspects of design means and ways of transferring information(.3)builded up the modeling feasibility theory system,studied the key point during the use of modeling feasibility(.4)used successful cases to study how to take the modeling feasibility theory system to guidepractice,concluded the general process of the modeling feasibility research. The modeling feasibility theory is the efficient means of solving the connection problem between industrial design and engineering design. It is a powerful weapon to assure products to agree with the initial ideas. This system is one of the most important parts of product design,which plays an important role of the product quality,cutting down the cycle time of product developing and decreasing the cost of the product.
