Research on the Current Situation and Optimization of
Financial Management in LF Vocational Technical College
Abstract
Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education system in our
country. From the 90s of last century, our country proposed the enrollment expansion
policy of colleges and universities. This policy also affects the entire higher vocational
education. With the expansion of enrollment, the scale of running a school and the
teaching quality of higher vocational colleges have been greatly improved. Higher
vocational education is gradually over-educating the public. Today, with the vigorous
development of higher vocational education, we also need to see the unfavorable factors
brought about by its rapid expansion. In particular, financial management and resource
management issues have become increasingly prominent. This also makes a lot of the
development of vocational colleges into trouble. It’s the change of national policies and
the deepening of higher vocational education reform. Corresponding policies of
Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance are gradually changing. This also brings
new opportunities and challenges to the development of higher vocational education.
With the advent of a market economy, higher vocational colleges have changed their
source of funds conveniently. From the original relying solely on financial allocations
for running schools, is diversified funding for running schools, which provides a good
opportunity for the development of higher vocational colleges. But it also adds to the
difficulty of its evolving financial management. Under such conditions, how should
higher vocational colleges carry out financial management? How to allocate existing
resources and improve resource utilization rate has become an important subject and
research field under the circumstances that education and scientific research can be
carried out normally.
Based on my own study and practice, this article attempts to start with the analysis
of the actual background of financial management in LF Vocational and Technical
College, the contents of financial management and the main problems existing in the

financial management of LF Vocational and Technical College. Through the research
on the financial management of LF Vocational and Technical College, this paper mainly
analyzes the financing channels, asset management, financial revenue and expenditure
management, budget management, risk management in LF Vocational and Technical
College through the methods of illustration, analysis, induction and comparison.
Awareness and other aspects of the problem, from the expansion of financing channels,
improve the management of fixed assets, strengthen financial revenue and expenditure
management, scientific budget management, improve market risk awareness and other
aspects of the LF Vocational and Technical College financial management problems put
forward countermeasures and suggestions. By analyzing the problem of financial
management in LF Vocational and Technical College and discussing ways to solve it, I
hope it can be used as a reference for the financial management in other vocational
colleges.
