Abstract
With the adjustment of energy structure in shanghai, it is critical time for Shidongkou
gas Co. Ltd (SSG) to exert business transformation. SSG is a nationalized enterprise, which
has superiority in resource in the energy industry and good management basis. However, with
the requirement of society and economy development, the enterprise business transformation
and development is urgent especially before the end of the The Twelfth Five-Year Plan”,by
adjustment mode of production and striving for the policy support. The realization of business
transformation is not only the needs of enterprise development but also the benefits to the
nation and lives of people.
Shanghai has drought The Twelfth Five-Year guideline for the energy industry”,of
which one of the fundamental principle is to plan ahead and safe develop for base energy
installation construction, diversified configuration of energy variety, multi-channel
introduction of energy resource and encouragement enterprise to take part in the construction
of energy base out of Shanghai, besides the improved energy reserve system, completed
contingency plans, and enhanced system support and regulation capabilities. To enhance the
energy insurance is the primary task of Shanghai during The Twelfth Five-Year Plan”,
especially the increasing of the reserve capacity for coal and refined oil.
Present article introduce the current situation of SSG, including the opportunities and
challenges,advantages and disadvantages, organizational and staff structure by the study of
business transformation in SSG, the analysis of current situation of SSQ and the proposal of
suggestions and countermeasures. Consequently, the suitable business mode can be fixed,
appropriate business group can be constructed, and the transformation from a
production-oriented enterprise to a business enterprise can be realized. Moreover, we hope the
investigation of this article can help similar enterprises to get experience for their
transformation and development during the industrial restructuring.
