Research on Performance Management System Optimization of A Health
Management Company
Abstract
In recent years, the health management industry has developed rapidly. The improvement
of policies has promoted the gradual maturity of industry supervision,and information
technology has promoted the upgrading of the industry. The market competition of health
management industry is becoming increasingly fierce. To gain a foothold in the industry,
companies must define organizational goals, strengthen performance management and improve
work efficiency. How to establish a reasonable and effective performance management system
has become an important issue for the development of health management companies. A Health
Management Company is wholly-owned subsidiary of B Insurance Company. The company
provides customers with health management services and medical assistance services based
on Internetthinking. Thefiercemarketcompetitionandtheever-changingmarket
environment both challenge the development of the company and force it to examine itself. It
is urgent for the company to carry out performance optimization.
In view of the practical problems existing in the performance management system of A
Health ManagementCompany, this thesis adopts questionnaires, data analysis and other
methods based on the advanced performance concepts of performance management theory and
360-degree performanceappraisal method, key performance indicators,management by
objectives and balanced scorecard. The analysis shows that the performance management
system of A Health Management Company is not implemented properly, the performance
results cannot scientifically reflect the real work quality of employees, the application of
performance resultsis ignored, and employees have low satisfactionwith performance
management.The main causesare the lack of scientificand systematicperformance
management system, the disconnection between performance management and the company's
strategic planning, the absence of quantitative objective performance assessment indicators,
and the low participationof employees in performance management.On this basis, the
optimization design of performance management system of A Health Management Company
is carried out.
In view of the specific problems existing in the current situation, this thesis defines the
purpose and principle of performance management system optimization. In this thesis, from the
perspectiveof performancemanagementindicators,to createpracticaland targeted
performance management system optimization scheme. First of all, this thesis scientifically

designs performance indicators according to the strategic planning of A Health Management
Company. The management defines the development goals of the company, the department and
the individual, forms job descriptions and designs quantitative assessment indicators based on
them. Secondly, the company establishes a systematic performance management process,
improve the performance evaluation system and increase the frequency of evaluation cycle.
Thirdly, the company improves the development and sustainability of performance appraisal by
establishing feedback mechanism and scientifically publicizing evaluation results. Finally,
specific safeguard measures should be created, including performance training, data collection
andper for manceculturecultivation, toensuretheimplementation effect of
performance management system in A Health Management Company.
This thesis hopes to optimize the company's performance management system, achieve
positive incentives, and improve the company's benefits. At the same time, this thesis hopes to
provide some reference for the optimization of other companies' performance management
system.
