随着我国经济实力不断增强,医疗技术水平也在不断进步。然而,由于我国人口 基数大,促使老年人的比例在总人口数量中越来越高,这也加快了进入老龄化社会的 步伐。突出了老年人在临终关怀方面的切实需求和迫切性,这就促使我国更应该大力 发展老年人临终关怀事业。 在临床方面,由于老人处于临终阶段中,经常处于现代医疗科技和大量药物的治 疗下,到临终前有过接受无效治疗的情况。这使得老人和家属也往往感觉到无奈和痛 苦。临终关怀的根本目的则是要为临终老人与其家属提供心理上的支持,更主要的是 帮助临终老人在生命的最终阶段减少甚至是解除心理上的压力,达到缓解心理恐惧并 维护尊严的目的。 关键词:临终关怀老年人社会工作者项目束划 长春工业大学硕士学位报告 Abstract With the rapid economic development, China、s medical treatment also increases continually. However, owing to the large population of our country, the percentage of the aged in the total population has been growing over time, which accelerates the pace of the aging society. Thus it is necessary and urgent to outshoot terminal care for the old. In the clinical aspect, the elderly are in terminal phase and usually exposed to modern medical technology and great amount of drug treatment. Having had the cases of accepting futile treatment before the termination of life, the aged and their relatives would feel helpless and sorrowful. The aim of terminal care is to support terminal elderly and their relatives psychologically. More important, terminal care is to help terminal elderly alleviate or even relieve psychological stress, so as to erase mental fear and maintain dignity.
