Integration Background
Abstract
Scientists study of rare earth industry in China since the 50 s, After more than 60 years of
development and growth, we now have production first, application first, export first and
consumption first. Although the technology of rare earth smelting and separation has reached the
international leading level, however, the development of high-end rare earth functional application
materials is backward, we don't have our own intellectual property. Rare earth production is
dominated by medium and low-end raw materials, and the technical level is not high. Domestic
production of rare earth oxides, salt and other primary products, there is fierce competition among
enterprises. China's rare earth enterprises still lag far behind the developed countries in terms of
technological equipment, industrial scale, quality control and product class and performance, the
market is less competitive,Gansu Rare Earth New Material Limited-Liability Company is no
exception.
This paper chooses the development strategy of Gansu Rare Earth New Material
Limited-Liability Company is studied in the context of the integration of rare earth industry, by
using SWOT, PEST, five-force model and other tools to describe and evaluate the internal and
external development environment of the company. From the perspective of enterprise
development strategy theory, enterprise strategy innovation theory and technological innovation
theory, analysis of capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses through internal and external
environments, the internal and external environment of Gansu Rare Earth New Material
Limited-Liability Company was analyzed and demonstrated by SWOT analysis method, the
development strategy of Gansu Rare Earth New Material Limited-Liability Company, the
development goal, main strategic points, key business and main measures adopted, the risk
identification, evaluation and prevention of development strategy are carried out. Through SWOT
analysis of Gansu Rare Earth New Material Limited-Liability Company. Gansu Rare Earth New
Material Limited-Liability Company to build a market-oriented, taking economic benefits as the

center, to establish modern enterprise system as the means, insist on the road of sustainable
development, is committed to the overall industrial structure optimization and product upgrading,
the company developed into China's rare earth industry's obvious trait of industry and product
structure reasonable, superior investment value of bench-marking enterprises. Gansu Rare Earth
New Material Limited-Liability Company should choose diversification strategy which includes
product diversification, market diversification, diversification of investment region and
diversification of capital.
This paper studies the Gansu Rare Earth New Material Limited-Liability Company such a
special regional rare earth enterprises in the development strategy of consolidation under the big
background, to explore such as area domain or the nature of the industrial enterprises has
important practical significance..
