越来越多的企业实践表明,创新正在从封闭式创新转向开放式创新。开放
式创新为新企业提供了更多的发展机会和资源,促进其创新发展和商业化,有
利于加强新企业的创新能力和市场竞争力。在经营过程中,新企业需要对所处
环境有深入的了解。环境扫描是一种战略工具,能够有效地搜寻环境中的事件、
趋势以及关系的重要信息,帮助新企业及时、准确地把握环境动态,发现环境
中的机会和威胁。新企业可以频繁地开展正式或非正式的环境扫描活动,通过
对环境领域(市场、内部、技术、社会、政治、经济环境等)的监测,搜寻和
挖掘环境中的关于产品/服务(需求、创意、反馈),竞争对手动向,技术创新、
行业发展趋势、产业政策变化等方面的相关信息,可以为企业开放式创新战略
提供外部可靠的知识源,有利于企业的知识获取与利用和技术商业化活动。动
态能力作为新企业的核心能力,包括了机会识别能力、环境适应能力、组织学
习能力、资源组合能力、组织柔性能力。环境扫描能够有效地提升新企业的动
态能力,动态能力又有利于开放式创新的战略实施,从而促进新企业的创新过
程,带来更好的创新绩效
那么,环境扫描与开放式创新、新企业成长三者的关系问题就成为本研究
的重点内容。特别地,本文选取新企业为研究样本,研究新企业背景下环境扫
描、开放式创新的特点以及对新企业成长的影响。本研究主要围绕“环境扫描、
开放式创新和新企业成长的关系”问题展开,并遵循理论探索、模型建构和实
证检验的研究路径。具体而言,基于资源基础理论、环境扫描理论、开放式创III
新理论和企业成长理论以及相关已有研究,通过理论分析与逻辑推导,本研究
共提出了与研究内容结合紧密的 11 个假设,最终采用结构方程进行验证。本文
所提出的假设中,10 个假设获得显著支持,1 个假设不支持。最后得到以下研
究结论:
(1)环境扫描对开放式创新的正向影响显著。(2)环境扫描对企业动态能
力具有显著的正向影响。(3)开放式创新对新企业成长的正向影响显著。(4)
动态能力对新企业成长的正向影响显著。(5)动态能力对内向型开放式创新和
企业成长关系具有显著的正向调节作用;动态能力对外向型开放式创新和新企
业成长关系的调节作用不显著。(6)动态能力在环境扫描影响新企业成长的过
程中具有积极的中介作用。(7)环境扫描对新企业成长具有积极的间接影响
总之,本文研究了环境扫描、开放式创新及新企业成长的关系,并将动态
能力分别作为中介变量和调节变量,针对新企业进行了大样本的问卷调查,提
出了研究假设和理论模型,并探讨了可能的影响结果。同时本研究调查了中国
经济转型背景下的 347 份新企业样本数据,并进行了规范的实证研究,拓展了
开放式创新背景下的“环境扫描—开放式创新战略—动态能力—新企业成长”
的研究框架,获得的结论性成果也为管理者提供了丰富的建议与启示。总之,
该研究不仅丰富了战略管理、开放式创新领域的研究成果,同时也为实践界指
明了一条促进新企业成长和获得持续竞争优势的发展道路

Study on the Relationship of Environmental Scanning, Open
Innovation and New Firm Growth
Abstract
Under the trend of globalization, it is no denying that the free flow of resources,
information and human resources will bring more opportunities and challenges to
the survival and development of new firms. How to achieve the growth of new firms
in a rapidly changing environment, to gain sustainable competitive advantage This
is a fundamental problem that new firm faces. New firm is the research focus of
innovation and entrepreneurship management, and the innovative new firm is also
an essential part of the dynamic process of economy development of country and
areas. However, in the modern global environment, the growth process of new firm
is full of uncertainty, facing structural flaws (scale, time, culture, management,
capital) because of its characteristic of limited resource. Therefore, it is of great
theoretical significance and practical value to study how new firms achieve positive
growth, expansion and diversification.
More and more business practices show that innovation is moving from closed
innovation to open innovation. Open innovation provides new firms with more
development opportunities and resources to promote their innovation development
and commercialization, thus strengthens the innovation ability and marketing
competitiveness of new firms. New firms need to have in-depth understanding of
their business environment. Environmental scanning is a strategic tool for strategic
decision making of managers, it can effectively search the important information of
environment about events, trends and relationships help to grasp the environmental
dynamics timely and accurately, discover opportunities and threats in the
environment. New firms can frequently carry out formal or informal environmental
scanning activities as well as search and dig in the environment about products /
services (needs, ideas, feedback), competitors trends, technological innovation,
industry trends, industrial policy changes and other aspects of the relevantV
information through the monitoring of environmental field (market, internal ,
technical, social, political and economic environment). It can provide an external
and reliable source of knowledge for the firm&39;s open innovation strategy, and it is
conducive to the acquisition and utilization of external knowledge, and technology
commercialization activities. Dynamic capabilities as the core capabilities of new
firms, including the ability of identifying opportunities, adjusting to environment,
organizing learning, combining resources and organizing flexibility. Environmental
scanning can effectively improve the dynamic capability of new firms, and help the
implementation of open innovation strategy, so as to promote the innovation process
of new firms, lead to better innovation performance.
So, the relationship problem between environmental scanning, open innovation
and new firm growth becomes the key point of this research. Specially, this research
chooses the new firms as research sample, and it investigates the characteristics of
environmental scanning and open innovation as well as the influences to new firm
growth. This research is mainly around the basic problem ―the relationship between
environmental scanning, open innovation and new firm growth‖ to expand,
following the path of theoretical exploration, model building and empirical test. To
be specific, based on the resource based theory, environmental scanning theory, open
innovation theory and firm growth theory as well as some related researches, this
research develops total 11 research hypotheses related to the research content
through theory analysis and logical derivation, and finally examines the research
hypotheses by the means of structural equation method. Ten hypotheses are gaining
obvious support, while one is not support. Finally, the conclusions are as follows: (1)
environmental scanning has obvious positive effect on open innovation. (2) open
innovation has obvious positive effect on new firm growth. (3) environmental
scanning has obvious positive effect on dynamic capabilities of new firm. (4)
dynamic capabilities has obvious positive effect on new firm growth. (5) dynamic
capabilities has significant positive adjustment for the relationship between inboundVI
open innovation and new firm growth, dynamic capabilities has not obvious
adjustment for the relationship between outbound open innovation and new firm
growth. (6) dynamic capabilities play positive intermediary role on the process of
environmental scanning influences new firm growth. (7) environmental scanning has
positive indirect effect on new firm growth.
