项目风险管理经过多年的研究和发展已经日趋成熟,并且在全世界的项目管理中得
以广泛应用,很多大型项目(特别是一些大型建设项目)在其管理过程中,都进行了风
险管理。出于发展的需要,化工企业在运营过程中会通过一些中小型改扩建项目,达到
其产能扩张、技术革新、淘汰陈旧设施或者符合新形势要求(如:新的法律法规、环保、
节能)的目的。但是,目前化工企业对于中小型改扩建项目风险管理的研究比较少,从
而导致中小型改扩建项目在执行过程中出现各种偏差,大大影响了项目的最终结果。
本文以卡博特化工有限公司中小型改扩建项目作为研究对象,以项目风险管理的基
础理论为依据,对其中小型改扩建项目的风险管理现状与改扩建项目执行过程中遇到的
问题进行了剖析,从风险管理流程制定、建立风险评价体系和风险应对策略等方面提出
了一套解决方案。并以某改扩建项目为例,探讨了该解决方案的具体实施情况,达到了
预期效果。本文研究为卡博特化工今后的中小型改扩建项目风险管理提供了可行的风险
管理措施,并以期引起业内对中小型改扩建项目风险管理的关注。

Small or medium vs expansion or reforming projects of CAOBT chemical
Abstract
After years of research and development, project risk management has become more
mature, and widely used in project management all over the whole world. Many large-scale
projects (especially some large construction projects), in its management process, have carried
out risk management. For the purpose of development, like expansion of production capacity,
technological innovation,elimination of obsolete facilities,or to comply with the
requirements of the new laws and regulations, environmental protection,energy saving, many
Chemical companies set up various projects. But the reality is that the study of such kind of
project risk management is rare and leads to kinds of deviations occurred during the
conducting process.
The article will study the risk management of 'the small or medium vs expansion or
reforming projects' according to risk identification,qualitative & quantitative risk
management and the methods of dealing with the risks. Then the article will take Cabot
Chemical as its studying object,take the basic project risk management theory as it base,
trying to find out an efficient process of risk management for these kind of project,as well as
trying to find out a solution of dealing with the issues which occurred during conducting the
project for Cabot Chemical. Hoping that it would appeal the attention of this industry to put
their emphasis on the risk management of small or medium vs expansion or reforming
projects
