Abstract
With the arrival of the economic globalization and the information era,all the world's
industries are facing the increasingly fierce competition both from the domestic and
international market. In order to improve their competitiveness and ability to adapt the
circumstance, many companies are exploring effective ways to increase organizational
performance. The Futures industry is inevitably subjected to the baptism of the market
economy.
This thesis begins with introducing the study background, research significance and
methodology as well as the basic framework. The next part is the performance
management theory summary. From the third chapter, the thesis commences the empirical
part. The EB Futures Limited Company is the object of this research. On the base of
understanding the actuality and trend of performance management system in EB Futures
Limited Company, the thesis then begins from analyzing the existing problems and reasons,
using the method of investigate and interview, etc. Secondly, combining with the
Management by Objective (MBO) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI), the thesis
explore a scientific and reasonable performance management system and find the
successful way on implementing the performance management system.
The research of this thesis can help EB Futures Limited Company establishing a
scientific performance system, which makes the management become easy,evidence-
based and a cycle of improvement process and establishing good performance concepts
and values, creating a good atmosphere of performance management in the organization,
ultimately enhancing the level of performance and achieving the management objectives of
corporate strategy. The research of this thesis also has realistic significance and certain
reference to improving the management of domestic futures industry.
