Research on the Development Strategy of T Test Equipment Co. Ltd.
Abstract
The research object of this article, T company is an enterprise that mainly researches,
develops, produces and sells traditional engine laboratory test equipment. Since 2019, the
Chinese government has issued a series of related policies for the auto industry, clarifying that
new energy vehicles are the future development direction of China's auto industry. China's auto
industry is facing varying degrees of pressure and challenges, and competition among
traditional car companies is increasing. Intensified, and new energy vehicles ushered in major
benefits. Under the circumstances that the current external environment is undergoing
tremendous changes, T Company needs to adjust its existing development strategy.
From the perspective of the current external environment and internal conditions of the
company, this paper uses the PEST Analysis, Porter’s Five Forces Model, SWOT model and
IFE and EFE matrix to conduct an in-depth analysis of the internal and external environment
of T company, and summarize the current external environment of the company. Opportunities
and threats, internal strengths and weaknesses, and finally concluded four strategic alternatives.
Combining with T company’s corporate vision and IE matrix analysis results, the best strategy
is selected on this basis, that is, relying on its own technological advantages, persisting in
transforming into a new energy laboratory testing equipment company, looking for
opportunities for diversified development, and achieving corporate sustainability Strategic line
of development. Based on this strategic route, it designed a short-term stable revenue, reformed
the system, and laid the foundation for transformation; deepened the transformation in the
medium-term, stabilized development, and expanded the scale; completed the long-term
transformation and explored the diversified development direction of the "three-step" strategic
implementation plan. And for the plan to formulate the adjustment of organizational structure,
optimization of financial and human resource management strategies, the implementation of
the company's system and other safeguard measures.
This article uses the management knowledge that the author analysis and discuss the
development problems faced by T company, and carry out a scientific strategic positioning,
which provides a feasible strategic route for the company to achieve sustainable and stable
development under the external conditions of the industry environment change. It also provides
a certain reference for small and medium-sized companies with similar enterprise scales and
business models in the industry to solve same problems.
