ABSTRACT
The rapid development of architecture and automobile industries in
China provides vast opportunities for PVB interlayer market, but Mansyi
Flexsaf PVB interlayer is facing a couple of problems in both the automotive
and architectural segments. In the automotive segment, Mansyi is not as
innovative as its competitors to launch new products to OEM manufacturers.
Mansyi gradually has lost market share and profit with its core products. In
the architectural segment, Mansyi’s share is low and lacks exclusive
products. In this instance, the author chose the marketing strategy of Mansyi
Chemical Co Flexsaf PVB in China as the research subject, hoping this
could help to improve Mansyi Chemical Company’s business in China.
This paper used the theories of development strategy, competitive
strategy and marketing to analyze the changing development, the external
PEST environment and the competitive condition of the chemical industry,
especially in the field of PVB interlayer. On the basis of Mansyi Chemical
Company’s internal environment, the author used a SWOT analysis to raise
the company's development strategy (localization strategy). The
implementation principles were safety and environmental protection,
management team excellence, focus areas, and continuous innovation.
The details of market strategies included product strategies, price
strategies, channel strategies and promotion strategies. Finally, this paper
proposed specific embodiments to enrich the cornerstone of corporatestrategy in human resources management, technology, culture and other
areas.
The contents and conclusions of this paper will provide substantial help
for the market expansion of Mansyi Flexsaf PVB and the long-term
development of Mansyi. It also will have value to improve the situation for
other enterprises in the same industry.
