Abstract
With the rapid development of the Chinese economy, employee turnover become an
increasingly common phenomenon. Automotive manufacturing industry as the pillar industries
in China, with the fastest economy growing speed, the competition is most intense. L as a
foreign auto parts suppliers in the development of China's automotive manufacturing,
experiencing the pain of the employee turnover. Firstly, after study employee turnover model
and the turnover factors related theory, we summarize the theoretical knowledge on the causes
and effects of employee turnover. Secondly, base on L turnover data during the five years
between 2009 to 2012,we study the impact result to turnover from three factors: individual
factors, organizational factors, and environmental factors. With the study, we can find out some
conclusions that: Some variables in individual factors such as age, working period has the bigger
impact to company turnover. Company can identify the high risk group base on the analysis
result; Career Development and Salary Status has the significant influence to turnover within
organizational factor, that is the most important part which company should improvement; Even
company can't change the environmental factors,but these factor has shown more and more
effect. Finally, base on the turnover reason study, we can propose solution which can help L
improve management. This study of employee turnover will have the significance meaning for
the auto parts supplier.
