Situated in Heshun town of Linzhou city, Linzhou Longxiang Papermaking Industry Limited Company is a professional private business, which is mainly engaged in producing box board paper and packing paper with raw materials like domestic waste paper, imported paper, etc. At present, it holds more than 10 millions of fixed assets and over 150 employees. Newly planned 100,000-ton Waste Paper and Commercial Pulp Paper-making Project has been approved, according to the document “Yu-Huan-Jian [2004] No.37” issued by Henan Environmental Protection Bureau.

With the abundance and improvement of the people’s material and spiritual lives, China’s demand for different kinds of paper products will increase at a higher speed during a rather long period in future. It is estimated that, by the end of 2005, China’s average consumption for paper products and board paper will reach 50 kg, closing to average level in the world. In future 15 years, increased consumption in China’s market of paper industry will occupy about 30 percent of the world’s total increased consumption of paper products. Therefore, huge domestic demands provide a wider market space for high-speed development of papermaking industry.

Potassic Sandshale Mine Development Project
一、项目背景
林州市含钾砂页岩矿（非水溶性钾、铝、硅矿）资源储量丰富，经地质勘探，资源储量达10亿吨钾含量最高达11.2%,大部分含量在10.3%以上。仅任村镇西北牛岭山、盘龙山和白家庄一带，现已探明的资源储量就在3.9亿吨，其中氧化钾的储量达1亿吨。据专家论证，任村镇牛岭山含钾砂页岩矿，既是一个特大型非水溶性钾矿，也是一个与之伴生的特大型铝矿，其储量达2.4亿吨，可采出矿石量8000万吨，居国内之首。
1. Project Background
In Linzhou, there are very abundant reserves of potassic sandshale mines (non-water solubility potassium, aluminum and silicon mine). According to geologic exploration, resource extent of potassium is as high as 1000 million tons, among of which maximum potassium content is 11.2 percent and the most is above 10.3 percent. It has been proven up that, only in the area of Niuling Mountain, Panlong Mountain and Baijia Village of Rencun Town, present known resource extent is 390 million tons including 100 million tons of potassium oxide. According to argumentation results given by some experts, potassic sandshale mine in Niuling Mountain of Rencun Town is not only an extra-large non-water solubility potassium mine, but also an extra-large associated aluminum mine. Its reserves are as high as 240 million tons, and ore amount can reach 80 million tons, which occupy the first throughout the country.

钾主要用于农业用钾肥原料，也可广泛用于电子、医药、化工、建筑等行业，市场需求量大，具有显著的社会效益和经济效益。据统计，1990年至1998年我国进口钾肥达3300万吨，平均年进口370万吨，国内需求巨大，足以说明含钾砂页岩矿的市场前景。
